It's hard to love, but hard to hate. The cast, as well as the pop culture references, cameos, and easter eggs, make this comedy work. The cgi and production quality shocked me for it being a spoof. I love how it played with the ratio, jumping out the letterbox at me, feeling almost 3D. The soundtrack was fine, and so was the plot. I'm struggling to know what to think of it because the whole thing is one big joke, but i love spoof movies, and I love Ghostbusters. It wasn't good, but it definitely could have taken itself seriously and been ALOT worse.

I’ve never been a big fan of remakes. In my opinion remakes are just an uncreative excuse to milk a successful product. This movie had a few funny moments but overall it was unimaginative and bland. 4/10

This movie isn't good. Not because the Ghostbusters are female but because, get this...the movie isn't good. The dialogue is very awkward and cumbersome. Much of the lines were improvised, and poorly at that. The ladies are talented and funny in other films, just not this one.

I don’t really know what to make of this film. Yes, it’s a fun, playful rendition of the original, but it did almost nothing to add to the lure or nostalgia of the 80’s version. If you are watching this because you are bored, or if you are with friends, then you will 100% love it

I KNOW this movie suffers from review-bombing just because it’s female led but I’m still surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It’s stupid goofy fun. It’s Ghostbusters. Nothing more and nothing less. I think it’s even better than the second one.

Ghostbusters offered a fresh and fun spin on the classic testosterone-fueled comedy and featured Chris Hemsworth as a dim-witted himbo, delightful cameos by cast members from the original movie, and a wonderful breakout performance by Kate McKinnon.

Dommage que dans les films qu’ils faisaient à cette époque il devait toujours y avoir un homme qui capture le cœur de la demoiselle en détresse mais en vrai je trouve que c’est pas abusé parce que meme si ses amis sont avec elle c’est la Licorne qui a sauvé la situation et toutes les autres licornes.

La disfruté muchísimo, definitivamente valió la pena verla. Una película que sí recomendaría pero no entra en mi top.

Seeing if the reboot deserved the internet hate. Expected a disaster, but the cast’s chemistry honestly brought decent laughs.

What Worked:
• Hemsworth as the himbo receptionist is honestly hilarious and a massive highlight for me.
• McKinnon’s chaotic energy totally steals every scene she’s in.
• Weapon upgrades like dual proton pistols really popped on screen for me.

The Friction:
• The middle really dragged for me. Relying on random improv slowed the story down.
• CGI ghosts looked way too cartoonish. I honestly missed the gritty 1984 practical effects.
• The original cast cameos felt super forced and pulled me out of the movie.

Verdict:
Watch for a breezy comedy. Skip if you hold the 1984 classic on a pedestal.
