Scarlett is my favorite Asian person

If only this movie was made ethically, it would have been in my all-time favourites. The visual and sound effects are crazy good, like crazy crazy. The design and colours are so satisfying. The score is electrifying. The story is generic, but it's done well. Im not going to talk about the acting or actors because it's just wrong. The dialogue was a cheesy type of good. It could have been a lot better. The stunts and fights took me to another planet, especially with the stunning cinematography. As a movie, it's great, but ethics take away a lot of feel-good feelings.

I had no idea that Scarlett Johansson was Japanese

Honestly not terrible but probably not gonna watch it anytime soon

I mean, yeah the role was definitely made for an asian person but Scarlett Johansson was still stunning in it. It is a great movie but in my opinion, not more than that.

2/5 this wasn’t the best adaptation of the manga/anime, but the aesthetics were nice

I loved the actual movie but the ending where she was looking all superhero was so weird lol

As someone who loves blade runner, I really liked the visuals. I can agree with some of the criticism of this movie but I thought it was cool.

Saw a long time aga, but I remember being so hyped, and it was just meh. Cool idea to bring a famous anime to life, but fell short.

Lacks all the charm of the original. Instead of explaining and world building through clever dialogue and visuals, it feels the need to explain it directly to you face like you’re stupid

This film is afraid to step out of the box. Everything it does is safe and acceptable. It's not a bad movie, just suffers from lack of creative talent. I really enjoyed it but i feel as if i enjoy it more for what it CAN be, rather than what it is
