I have tried to watch this movie 3 times and never again. Every single time I’ve fallen asleep and I never fall asleep during movies. Might start watching it at night to doze off! It’s not even like slow or quiet I think just a bit rubbish and boring

How nice of them to give the “geostorm” a brief 5 minute cameo 😫

Besides the obvious flaw that this satellite network could never be built because of space trash this movie was pretty disappointing. The cgi was awful, there were numerous plot holes, and the action scenes were corny and bad. Gerard says that the self destruct sequence was in case the station fell to earth but in the time it takes for the sequence to finish the ISS would already have hit the planet and been cleaned up. He also says theres no way to stop it but he just got in a fight with Duncan to get him to stop it. It also really takes away from the whole brotherly love makeup scene when you think about the fact that 100s of thousands of people are dying while they have their moment. So many things just didnt make a realistic or feasible sense, like sending a whole rocket into space for 1 person, or a satellite having a pod that two people could hitch a ride in, or a shuttle having an arm to grab a satellite and a hatch to connect the satellite too. The level of unnecessary and unrealistic explosions rival a Michael Bay movie. What causes an arena to explode from a lightning strike. The whole orlando chase scene was awful, horrible cgi then she becomes jason bournes’ superhero by not missing a single shot while driving backwards at high speeds but she cant just shoot the other guy too, and their car just comes to a nice stop when the driver dies while not losing a drop of blood. Then she rams the taxi into his car and it doesn’t injure him at all nor does the taxi have a scratch on it even though his car gets damaged, and lastly they send the taxi towards the bad guy as a decoy and are somehow already ahead of him so when he sets up his ambush they ambush him from being killing his driver without a gunshot even though the driver was shot, and the police get there at the exact moment they do even though theres no sirens or noise at all until they are right there. Overall the movie had a good premise but was executed terribly, better cgi, and better writing could’ve produced a decent movie but unfortunately we got this. 3/10
