Celebrating Garfield Day with some lazy 2000s nostalgia. Expected a total cringefest, but Murray’s sarcastic delivery honestly makes it charming.

What Worked:
• Murray voicing Garfield is a match made in heaven; his cynical energy carries it for me.
• Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt fit that classic comic strip style perfectly.
• Odie’s dance to “Hey Mama” is super fun and totally pops on screen.

The Friction:
• The train station rescue part near the end really dragged for me.
• The CGI on Garfield honestly looks pretty dated today and pulled me out a bit.

Verdict:
Watch for an easygoing blast of nostalgia. Skip if silly family plots annoy you.
