Took forever for anything to happen. Also, violence was a bit for the sake of it rather than being a dramatic device.

A cool look at what New York gangs may have been like in the 1800’s.

Great old school Leo movie. Tells the story of NY gangs of the Irish vs Americans way before the Italian mob

I’m generally not a fan of this early time period but this was fantastic. Leo and Daniel Day…it’s not even fair. Great performances by both, some really cool cinematography throughout. I loved it!

It's a good movie but not what I usually like to watch. I felt it was very long and got a little bored. But it’s a classic that you should watch once in your life.

Top 3 Scorsese movie for me…! Daniel Day Lewis performance as bill the butcher is epic… they where robbed at the Oscar’s!
