You get what you see on the tin. Essentially just another White House Down/ Olympus Has Fallen scenario.

Only this time the president is doing the saving by John Wick-ing everyone else and Homelander is a terrorist (just slightly less psycho).

A typical big-name-led, straight-to-streaming action movie that, like most flicks, tries to fit in every current conversation, from AI to crypto to climate to politics. I gave up following the story, and it became a decent background play—not much to miss, though, as it's very obviously predictable. Meh comedy, meh action, meh dialogue, meh everything. It weirdly felt longer than its runtime, and I really didn't like the family dynamics. I couldn't stop laughing at the performances, too. Homelander needs more than just milk, and after seeing @damioloyede on TikTok, I can't take Viola Davis seriously anymore.

Violet Davis was paid just enough to do the movie but not enough to actually put effort into her acting.

Viola Davis is an absolute powerhouse as President Danielle Sutton, turning the movie into a high-stakes, action-packed thrill ride where her badass military past and sharp survival instincts totally steal the show. Ufff 😮‍💨

Just go into it with an open mind because no way some of it could happen, especially the helicopter scene
