very good, just not as phenomenal as i expected it to be. i always get overhyped on the initial trailers idk why. all 4 john wick films are still my all time favorites.

miss lance reddick everyday. rest in peace king. glad he still had some screen time in this film. it’s going to be so hard not seeing him in the next films.

ana fucking killed it, all of her choreography & learning the stunts were so bad ass. the action sequences were phenomenal as always.

that flamethrower sequence was the fucking highlight of the film imo. pure cinema.

the cinematography was good but not as impressive as wick 4.

i will say tho… that crash at the beginning of the film was dogshit. what type of cgi were they using. my god it looked so fake, i could notice it miles away. kinda disappointed on the vfx. besides the blood and explosions ofc.

seeing keanu fucking people up all alone for a few minutes, was very refreshing tbh. loved all of it

lastly lets talk about darly dixon on the big screen. holy fucking shit was that so good to see him tearing people up with a shotgun and not his day to day bow & arrow haha. ifykyk. very great addition to the john wick universe.

very excited for the next chapter of this bad ass franchise.

I’ve only seen john wick 4 and I didn’t really care for it 😭 but this one was so good. the fights didn’t look as choreographed as 4 (until the cabin scene) but they were pretty good. idrk what else to say lol I enjoyed it

KILLER movie. I love this spin off, and how it's also canon to the universe is phenomenal. Character growth was a big factor in this movie. And the action? Dare I say, ON PAR with John Wick. Maybe even, slightly better? I'd watch this again in a heartbeat. Amazing film.

Aura Farming: The Movie

Bad writing. Poor storyline imo. Ana de armas’ acting is flat, I rly don’t know how she is such a big actress. Fight scenes are well choreographed and is the movie’s only saving grace. The water hose vs flamethrower was kinda over the top tho

So, when a movie is set in the world of John Wick...you kind of have to compare it to the "original," and in doing so FOR ME, it was just not it, literally starting from the first contract, how come the goons aren't trying to k*ll her, yeah she's a girl but cmon, no weapons🤷🏽‍♂️

Yes Anna de Armas, you can shove your fingers in my eyes anytime you want.

7/10 Ana was great playing the assassin and good to see Keanu reprising JW. Apart from overplaying the action sequences (which were all good) the film could have been told in 1hr 30mins. Recommend.

Hopefully this is like the first John wick movie, where the sequels will build upon the first majorly. Very simple plot but amazing choreography and action, as per usual with John wick movies.

good stuff but i were hoping keanu would have a longer cameo

I have one major gripe with this, and it's to do with tone and overall build. I love the John Wick movies because they do something new with the action genre, not only with stunts and sequences, which "Ballerina" did not let me down with, but also with the score and theme. I wanted something fresh, but most of it is the same, with the only difference being a MacGuffin. Otherwise, I loved the casting and extensive set pieces, but both were to be expected.
