From Hell Reviews

DNF

31 days of Halloween movie list.

Day 25: From Hell

One of my fav roles of Johnny Depp, has an amazing cast what follows the story of the Jack the Ripper case, definitely the best adaptation of the case.

Re watch.

“This ain’t killin’ for profit. This is ritual.

10/10 ⭐

Not quite what I expected. They managed to tell an engaging story despite facts themselves being well known. I understand some of the choices for the ending without being fully satisfied.

Hollywood doesn't really make films like this anymore. It's quite the shame.

Very interesting movie, Johnny is always fantastic.

Very interesting take on Jack the Ripper I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Unfortunately the third act noses diving into crap

7/10. A good gothic thriller with a stellar cast.

meh

Tratto dall'omonimo fumetto di Alan Moore, gli rende giustizia, cast che spinge. Trama che spiazza, piacevole.

Johnny Deep💗17/1/26

boring. 4.9/10

big big fan very different but interesting telling of the ripper

6/10 Johnny Depp is so fine in this with his British accent. The gore was gory and the plot was interesting. Sad ending :/

inaspettatamente bello, con piantino finale

intrattenente e con colpi di scena efficaci

Good

“From Hell". Well at least they got the address right.

It was entertaining enough, although I guessed the reveal very early on. Was it a phenomenal movie? No but I had fun watching it.

Such a great movie
