Southern gay love story 10/10

Booo. Longest movie I’ve ever seen AND SO BORING. The twist at the ending was the only entertaining thing and that was two minutes out of TWO HOURS.

I’ve seen this film more times than I can count after my mother shared it with me, I’ve never grew tired of it. Another golden classic of cinema.

While I acknowledge that it's cliche to say the book was better, this movie still has a special place in my heart

I have such a soft spot for this film. The book is better as they are explicitly gay in it, whereas it’s very dumbed down for the film, but I still love it anyway.
