Friday the 13th Part 2 Reviews

Not to bad!! I know I rated the first one kinda harshly but the second film makes the first film seem necessary in some ways. This one had some cooler kills and was definitely faster paced compared to the first film. 8/10!! Time to watch the other 5 billion films 😭😭 damn

Felt like this movie was a little more developed in the way they shot the movie and how the story flowed. Of course a lot of killing and dumb people making stupid decisions. This is also one of our favorite maps in the Friday the 13th game. @stutiaahana

I don’t know why for the life of me I couldn’t remember watching this movie, despite all evidence of having watched it ringing true. Like I genuinely couldn’t think of a single thing that happened until I watched a Kill Count on it, but now that I remember, it’s a dope movie lmao

wayyy more scary than the 1st movie!! the cinematic timing is perfect and seeing jason for basically the first time (as the killer) is always nostalgic

First time watch: I definitely connected with the characters in this one more so but it felt like the kills weren’t at brutal in this one.
(I guess Jason needs to get his mojo like his mama)

I’m also just now realizing how horny these movies are lol

One of the best movies in the Friday franchise. The final girl was amazing and this was our first introduction to Jason, one of the most recognizable horror villains ever. Plus the kills were great. Definitely in my top 3 Friday movies!

Jason has arrived! The Camp Blood slasher makes his first official appearance, albeit sans-hockey mask. The cheesiness begins to increase along with the gratuitous sexual content. That being said, still a staple in the horror genre.

Some parts were really funny, like him falling off the chair and the chainsaw scene 😂

Pros: Like the first movie, it’s very beautifully shot; likable (for the most part), genuine, but thin characters; some well done jumpscares
Cons: Anime levels of gratuity; not much of anything happens; people just disappear from the movie entirely

Fixed everything the first part lacked.

Interesting to see Jason not being the perfect killing machine. He fumbles and tumbles like Ghostface, which is normal being his first go at it.

The kills were slightly better. Big boy Jason makes his debut. But really it’s bag man. Felt very copy and paste to the first one, but if it ain’t broke, then just keep doing it I guess. Same ending really same scare. 6.1/10.

Claro que vai ser parecido com o primeiro, mas tem várias coisas muito boas e que são diferentes. A final girl também é muito boa, prefiro essa do que a do primeiro filme
