Everything in this film (except for like 1-2 scenes👰🏻🐺) was phenomenal. It seems to be an accurate depiction of the female perspective of being a part of the mafia & def is of living on Staten Island … shot on scene and by a SI director/actress I am blown away by the artistry… 🥹🌹🌇

I saw a scene of this, thought the acting was pretty good, then sat down and watched the sopranos but not as good for the next hour

This movie is all about, C-PTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder). “I am not a monster, I am your father… then who protects us, from you.”

Probably one of the best films I’ve watched in a long while. The writing is phenomenal and a first written from this point of view. I’m eager to see what Esposito does next.

A mafia story that focuses on the lasting impact of the crime world rather than the criminal. Love how female centric this cast is, something we rarely see in this genre. Hats off to Jennifer Esposito for writing, directing, starring, and producing this film!
