Forget Me Not
The movie follows a high school student who meets a girl and starts hanging out with her, she tells him that everyone has forget about her and at first doesn’t believe it.
A day later he tries to prove that point and turns out it is the case. He promises not to forget her and spends a lot of time with her but eventually he does end up forgetting.
One day he stumbles onto his computer because he was asked for a school photo, only to realize that he had all the videos and photos he took when spending time with her on his computer.
The twist though was that they had dated the year prior and had spent a lot of time together, so she was trying to get him to remember a year after to try and bring him back, only to then close the chapter of her life and leave him for good once he finds her, though she pretends to be someone else and he believes it until he finds a picture of them on his physical phone behind his case.
The movie ends with him running, searching for her after realizing he was actually talking to her.
A bleak depressing ending. Though the twist was a nice touch, I feel other movies have gotten this “forgetting someone” take better.
