We get it Chris, or whatever your name is; you have a family and stuff. I just wanted to see my father in this.

all of the moments about/with the jazz photographer were great, and showed a lot of insight into a wonderful period of music history. tracy was the only nice person in this documentary. everyone else is entirely self obsessed and also for some reason can’t understand why success hasn’t fallen in their big-headed lap. also, a terrible advertisement for a record store. that’s sweet that you store your records in old meat boxes, but, i’m sorry, i don’t want my records smelling like old meat. also,, how much are you charging for your records sir? you complain about a dying clientele, and blame it on the new record store down the street (which, by the way, in no way is your town a fucking small town with a small population, you are 30 minutes from new york city) when you showcase the exact things you can be doing to to improve your store that the other store is doing successfully, like having a website and using electronic payments. the owner of the store is against this though, and is instead focused on “leaving his fingerprint.” bitch, to be non metaphorical, i don’t want your fingerprint on my records! i saw multiple moments where records were touched on the grooves, that makes them dirty! why would i buy a dirty record. this film was a complete catfish, acting like it would be about this record store, when it was truly about how this filmmaker could interject his entire life into this documentary about a separate subject. i don’t care about your first documentary. i don’t care about your career in advertising. this is about a record store. a record store that smells like meat. tracy, again, is the only saving grace of an interview in this film when it comes to the subject. oh my god. i am a person who is also obsessed with records, but i know they shouldn’t be stored in this conditionnn!!!!! don’t go to this store. go to the one down the street.

Very solid 20-30 minutes in here. Gotta sit through it all to get there though.
