I admired this film for its honest depiction of war and horrific battle scenes. Its messaging was decent for this type of film. My largest complaint are the uneven and complex time jump sequences. Overall an ok film.

It was a good film but it got boring as I found it difficult to follow

Bit unnecessary to drag on the 2 flags getting planted. Sure it was a muck up but didn’t need to make it a bit deal. Could’ve said the 2 flags were planted on either sides of the island or something 🤷‍♀️

Great movie never knew about the second flag

Great movie. Really makes you appreciative. Love America with all my heart. I’d say a 9/10

vraiment cool. J'ai bien aimer les différents personnages et le fait que tout ne tourne pas autour du front. C'était cool de voir le témoignage en même temps d'une personne qui a vécu la guerre et qui l'a raconte. J'ai appris des choses et c'est peut être le plus important.

My cousin had several speaking scenes playing a US lieutenant in the Marines.

It was an eye opening film to how everything revolved around the picture and how it truly changed the way of 3 men’s lives.

This movie is very near and dear to me as Sgt. Strank is my relative. This film is important because it tells the story behind the iconic photo. It also talks about a very not talked about battle and the aftermath and PTSD that the soldiers how to deal with while campaigning.
