Love this visual style. Mia is a cool character.

Watched this for Michael Fassbender (from 2011 Jane Eyre). A combo of Lolita and Sciamma’s Water Lilies. Candyman-like bleakness of poverty.

It was good. The pacing held up, visuals were sharp, and the performances felt authentic. Some scenes dragged, but overall, it left a strong impression.

This movie is just fucked up. It was fine wasn’t even that good but worth a try. And I don’t get how Michael Passbender manage to play the most twisted characters.
