I watched this purely because Jenna Ortega is in it, if you're a fan of her or Tommy Lee Jones, I recommend a watch. Not much rewatchablity or much to analyze or "catch". This family drama turned intense crime thriller is a slow watch but worth at least one watch.

A stirring family Thriller fishing for trouble & survival.

I didn’t expect this to be as good as it was, but with Ben Foster and Tommy Lee Jones starring, I should have known better. This starts off a bit slow, but just when things start to look good, they go off the rails real quick!

Most are going to click for Jenna Ortega, but it’s the brotherly and paternal chemistry that really sells it here. Feels like Contraband by way of Manchester by the Sea (except not nearly as traumatic as the latter).

I liked it. Not extremely moving but a nice watch

Really good movie. The story itself was super interesting and the actors captured their roles perfectly. The progression of the plot was perfectly paced and kept me interested all the way through.

How can you have THE Tommy Lee Jones and Jenna Ortega and somehow make their acting shit? I don’t know if it’s the directors fault or the dialogues fault but this is what I call The Outerbanks Effect™. The story was good I did like it I just didn’t like the way it was told.
