Supper cute family movie but also sad. I enjoyed watching it though!!

5.2 - Feel much the same about this one as I did about Rio. Maybe I’m just not big on Carlos Saldanha.

It’s a sweet enough story, though not one I remember ever reading as a kid. I more remember it from the one line from The Blindside.

Like Rio, the voice acting choices are insane, especially for a story set in Spain? John Cena, Peyton Manning, Kate McKinnon, Jarrod Carmichael - some odd choices in there, but all did well enough with their characterizations.

Overall it’s sincere & happy enough, but still forgettable. And absolutely too long for young kids.

Coco winning the 2018 Oscar was absolutely the right call.
