Satyricon
Surreal, disturbing, stunning! OK SO YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT IT CRITICALLY AND WITH HISTORICAL CONTEXT BUT- I like how Fellini satirized the original satire in his adaptation. I’m such a sucker for incomprehensible bullshit. I could write a whole essay, but a very unique film fs. 🕺

A lot to appreciate in this fever-dream film at the helm of an extremely talented director, but while it may be different, does not make it creative. 6.5/10
