honestly not even a fear street movie, just a slasher flick. I wouldn’t watch this with the expectation of the other ones. it wasn’t awful but it wasn’t the best either lol. I’d definitely rather watch the other trilogy again, it had better plot, acting, twists, & characters. 😭

Not bad but definitely not on the same level as the OG trilogy. Simplistic and predictable prom night slasher with little linking it to the occult and past events in Shadyville. There are some interesting kills though so it's still enjoyable enough watching for some mindless fun.

Really disappointed. Bad plot and bad acting. The plot twist was lame af. Predictable. The other movies are WAYYY better than this movie

Only reason why I «meh» the movie, was how stupid (in a funny way) the death was (even tho you could see how fake it was)

Honestly not bad for a stand-alone movie, but I wish it was like the other ones. There were super high expectations for this one, sadly they didn’t really reach it. It was just an okay movie. Wish Christy got more screen time though, love my girl Ariana!

Prom is never that serious. I don’t know why they even tagged on the fear street name it had nothing to add to the other movies they should have made a ruby lane movie instead. ☹️

It was good but didn't connect to the other movies like they did back then it be better as a separate without the Frear Street title the bar was not achieved

I don’t understand the hate this is getting??? Is it because it doesn’t connect enough to the original trilogy? TBH, my only gripes are that I wanted better more complex chase/fight scenes (although the finale sorta made up for it) and they pulled a Scream with Ariana Greenblatt.

this was actually the most predictable, underwhelming and AWFUL watch. literally every character and plot point were cliche. fear street is such an amazing series and this should not have had that name slapped on it when it had nothing to do with the original lore.

plot twist was kinda lame but i rlly love the cast so idc

The killer being the whole family was just unfair and unfunny at that point 😭 Loke it would’ve been fun if it was her dad and the main girls mother.
But no, all three.
Overall 8/10. I liked some of the kills.

i don’t really know how to rate this?? it was so different than the other fear street movies but not in a good way.. definitely my least favorite in the series
