A good not typical Christmas movie. Kinda crazy to see Santa Clause carrying. This had a hardcore Santa like in Violent Night.

It steered away from Christmas cliches which I appreciate

I did not like this. There were like 6 laughable parts, and then there was too real useless killing of elves and Santa and torture of that school girl. So WTF. No. Just no.

Didn’t really go anywhere but was an alright time, loved Santa’s very wholesome marriage, hated the kid

Would love to watch a sequel

Interesting and refreshing take on Saint Nick. Walton Goggins is the real star. Done really well and the story makes sense. Although the skinny man’s past wasn’t explicitly stated, you could piece together his broken childhood brought him to his current occupation.

Tough to rank, because I admit I don’t really like seeing Santa being this disgruntled. Nor do I like seeing people with the nerve to go after him. He’s freaking Santa Clause, for crying out loud! Saint Nicholas. Kris Kringle. Etc etc etc!!!

Definitely not the “save the family business at the last minute, boy and girl fall in love, everyone lives happily ever after” type Christmas Movie cliche film.

If you’re looking for a change of pace though, this is your film. Mel is awesome as always. Goggins does what he does.

Gotta give it a thumbs up overall, I reckon, even though I found the bratty spoiled kid annoying.

It’s fun watch. The monologue at the end is my favorite.

A Great Watch. A fun story and good script. Terrific cast and interesting characters. This movie had nice action and shoot scenes.

New Christmas staple. This was so much fun. Goggins is perfect.

It's so stupid, not a good movie but a big joke.

Doesn’t live up to the premise. Has tonal imbalances and pacing issues: At times it’s a serious thriller, at others it’s an action-comedy. And it’s not good as either. Mel Gibson plays it like a drama but Walter Goggins plays it as a comedy. Clearly restrained by a low budget.
