Trailer sets the expectations high but it’s not really scary and the plot is kinda weak

Using my free time to enjoy things I love, I threw this on for a spooky night. Expected a wild ride, but the messy plot and lack of scares totally lost me.

What Worked:
• Peña brings a cool, mysterious vibe to Mr. Roarke.
• The tropical setting gives off a great creepy vacation aesthetic.
• Yang and Hansen bring much-needed comic relief to keep it fun.

The Friction:
• Juggling too many fantasies made the middle really drag for me.
• The big twist at the end felt forced and honestly didn’t make sense.
• The PG-13 scares felt watered down and just didn’t hit hard enough.

Verdict:
Watch for a mild background thriller. Skip if you need a tight story or real scares.
