if any gringo wants to know how the USA is seen by others, look at Mr Douglas. that's your place in this world. your country steals, kills and maims for any stupid reason. just because it feels entitled.
The only difference is that the real world has no pendergasts. not anymore.

Weirdly a good movie

If there is a single movie to exemplify the term “anti-hero” it is this. It is as hard to root for Douglas’ character as it is to root against him. The villain as the protagonist has never been done as well as it is with Falling Down.

2 hours of the worlds biggest crash out

Very good movie, has themes of deception, anger and then what the protagonist sees as redemption.

There is something strangely endearing about this film and it’s brilliantly acted too. However, when the entire plot is essentially just a guy crashing out in the worst ways possible, it’s hard to really feel that connected to the story.

Very good movie, lots to dissect when it comes to mental breakdowns and modern society

This is the most thrilling thriller i’ve ever seen, amp it up a bit and you’ve got yourself a horror movie where you’re following the villain. Even though I’ve seen several scenes from this movie it shocked me with our protagonist and the commentary it made.
