Exorcist: The Beginning Reviews

Really slow until like an hour in, took me a couple days to actually watch the whole thing. The ending was the only thing that made it an alright movie, but even that wasn’t that great with the horrible sexual comments. Weird. A good concept though just wasn’t executed well. 5/10

Another good supernatural horror movie which plot focuses on a exorcism. Still it could have had been more scary with some better scares.

This movie took so long to pick up. Literally nothing happens til the end. Nothing about it was scary. The only thing horrifying was how bad the story was.

This is the same movie as Dominion: prequel to the exorcist
That movie was released after this movie flopped with some edits from what I’ve read, and I found the movie terrible. But if your gonna watch one ide suggest the other one as it’s supposedly better.

like still just bad idk 😭 could be better acting, pacing and plot. we already know that someones possessed which they spend a while figuring out so theres nothing really drawing you in or making you want to keep watching and i dont know if i can make it through the next ones

Very slow beginning only gets exciting an hour in

The movie was supposed to be super scary, but honestly the scary part was really shitty, the story was exceptionally good and the main character also felt good (especially his past), but the movie was really boring, slow-paced and a massive wasted opportunity, A 4/10 for me!

It was pretty slow up until an hour in, the ending made it an alright film but i personally wouldn’t watch again. It’s not bad but I could have done without watching it.
