what the hell was the moment when the evil ghost suddenly started praying, caught the fire and flew like a rocket into the air

Gave me chills every second. The plot so complex yet executed nicely. Everything was connected smoothly; the scares, the twists and the acting. Reminds me a lot of The Wailing, and on par with it.

i wish i could see this movie again for the first time😭😭 it was so good and definitely lived up to its hype.

Absolutely amazing. The story was complex and I feel that there is no plot holes. The use of folk tails and mythology from both Korea and Japan is beautiful. As well as tying it to historical era.
