Ex Machina

ngl i watched this in a film class that i had to take twice &the first go round it didn’t seem like something i’d enjoy so i just didn’t watch it. the next semester i watched it in class & WOW this movie is wild. it’s also an A24 film so it’s aesthetically pleasing, but holy shit

the thing we fear being told in a raw style visually for us all to see? mwah

When I watched it a few years back I was scared, now I rewatched it and I came to the conclusion that the poor guy didn’t have a reason to die … and also that the machine is crazy.

9.5/10
absolutely insane concept that is carried out super well - ridiculous acting from all 3 leads and just a crazy ending that keeps you guessing the entire time - super scary to think about in actuality as well

10/10

This movie is great. It has good themes Oscar Isaac gives an amazing performance he’s the standout. It has sole great characters. It’s overall just a solid good movie nothing more nothing less 9.5/10
