Felt like I was watching a 2h long music video instead of a musical

This is not a good movie, and an awful musical... this shouldn't exist.

This was bloody amazing. A little confusing but I’m sure a few rewatches would clear things up 💚

Kinda meh, Madonna isn’t great as Evita and you so spend the last 20 minutes of the film just waiting for her to die and almost feeling disappointed when she hasn’t yet.

Good musical about Argentina’s politics. Don’t take it too seriously, and it will be a good watch; Songs are annoyingly catchy.

It was a snooze. However, as a big 80s and 90s Madonna fan, her voice improved after she did this movie because she took proper voice lessons.

The songs are good, I just don’t love how they sing the entire time. Mostly because I’m not a huge fan of musicals. Either way, Madonna did an incredible job and it’s worth watching once
