Evil Dead Rise

If you watched the trailers you saw 80% of this movie or more sadly BUT the stuff you didn’t see was WILD and the stuff the mom said was funny af. Even tho it took a little bit to get into it there was so much action, creepiness. The ending just was pretty mediocre in my opinion

The blood and gore was great! The things the mom said? HILARIOUS🤣 The ending; terrible🫠

Increasing rating since I know I’ll rewatch a ton. Loved that it was funny/cheesy, but maintained horror value throughout 90% of the film from start to finish. The absolutely epic beginning makes up for the silly ending. Also has one of the sickest title cards I’ve ever seen 🥳

What did I just watch

3.5/10 as a movie. 6/10 a horror. same as the first movie "evil dead" but I found it a little better, until the end which was just disgusting and I couldn't fully watch. nice acting tho and good colour-grading compared to the first movie.
