This movie is amazing. The way they executed this movie was phenomenal. This movie will definitely have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. There is so many jaw dropping scenes that I can’t even describe. This movie is very scary, gory and the plot was also good. 9.5/10

Top tier movie for me, been chasing the high since.

Yeah I loved this 100x more than the original 2. Adored it actually. The acting, story, visuals, directing, all of it felt like exactly what I wanted from the original. Just sleek but grungy, cruel but with heart, visceral impact, and just AWESOME action. Mia is a top final girl.

I must’ve seen some shitty horror movies because this is fucking peak

1000% new favorite line from horror in this one and there’s a shot in the last 10 mins that’s probably top 5

would’ve liked it to be a bit longer but the pacing was incredible so I can’t complain.

Mixed feelings on this one. Going back to the first and focusing on the film being scarier works really well for modern horror. It was indeed scary with some incredible gore scenes and felt just as violent as the others. I also thought the ending was really cool, and done better…

After so many years since my first initial viewing of “Evil dead”, I took the liberty of giving the film antiher chance On May 1st 2026 when I purchased the 4k steelbook from “Scream Factory”. Upon this time, I dived deep into a time stamped analysis.

In many ways, the final confrontation, especially within the iconic blood rain sequence, reveals the limits of what one is willing to endure and ultimately become. It is here that survival is no longer just about escape, but about facing the despicable force that once tormented them, and bringing its existence to an end, even if it means becoming something unrecognizable in the process.

Evil Dead (2013) fascinately enough to me is one of those cases where the franchise comes back to its roots in the darkest and stylistically complex way. It’s concepts of Obliviousness and consequential life choices will always remain terrifying no matter what way you can ultimately view it. And even to this day the processes that were involved in making the film will forever make it nearly as iconic as the first film.

this movie was alright… lots of blood and gore and some parts were predictable

wasn’t as bad as i thought but isn’t better than any of the original series, not the worst remake i’ve ever seen though but they added too much stuff to be shocking/different that didn’t work for me, but i liked and felt bad for mia and the gore was pretty cool
