Hating on this movie is the biggest red flag imaginable

10/10 the best multiverse movie ive ever seen. i feel like i understood all of it perfectly, yet i barely understood any of it at the same time. great preformance from everyone. i was crying at the end, then when the credits started rolling all i could do was sit there. its crazy

So people loved this movie…😒? I did not find anything entertaining in this movie, regardless of the low quality of the movie, probably I can make the same quality movie as this with an iPhone 6 camera and some dollars.

One of the best films of the year. It’s layered, comedic and digestible. If this film doesn’t sweep the Oscars next year it will be a surprise

overrated, way too much going on, some of it is alright but it’s definitely not that amazing

Wow. At no point did I know what would happen next. Went in to this w/o watching any trailers so truly went in blind. Very cool concept of a movie. The underlying messages with family and love and hatred were really cool to unravel. Almost every actor/actress delivered.

Horrid

Rewatched this and cried an unhealthy amount of times. The representations and analogies and meanings and ideas and sequences and editing, really overwhelms everything, everywhere, all at once. I didn't like it at first because the silliness and unpredictability felt excessive. On rewatch, the entire cast, including the Daniels, pour out pure cinematic gold. It's existential and chaotic yet grounded and honest, something most multiverse movies can't hack. The absurdity makes you chuckle while the acting/dialogue makes you weep before jaw-twisting visuals and stellar sounds trap you inside claustrophobic scenes.

Top 3 if all time

love transcends everything, everywhere, all at once. i honestly can’t wait to watch it again and feel like my rating will only go up. it’s hard to follow at first just because the information you’re being given doesn’t make any sense and you’re being given everything, all at once. but it comes together in the end beautifully so. the montages of characters going between universes are fucking insane and my high ass loved every second of it (don’t blink; a24 i love u). it makes every bit of sense that Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan received best actress & best supporting actor for this, and that the movie received lots of other oscars/accolades - undeniably one of the best performances i’ve ever seen of a cast as a whole; had me crying many, many times, + the cinematography man… fucking unreal. idk how to describe it in other words. just such a gorgeous experience. 8.7/10

Way too much going on… But perhaps that’s the point. It made such little sense that I was not able to decipher whether there was even a “message” or “life lesson”
I typically like “odd” movies but this just left me confused and disoriented and not in a pleasant way.

absolutely grabbed me from the beginning. this movie is unlike anything i’ve seen. had me laughing, crying, nothing makes sense.

This is very polarizing but I did not like this movie. It was just too wacky and long and all over the place. I feel dumb for not liking it though.
