Eve is the main character. Her memory fails her. Her sister got groomer by her dad maybe full on SA.
As the oldest daughter started to do more adult things and started her monthly, I think that's when it began, 14 and her happiness left; that's why she had to go. Older women&men

It was an interesting route they decided to take with the characters of the dad and Cisely…but I do think it was still an interesting story overall. I also like that this movie acknowledged aspects of hoodoo/voodoo and similar ideas, since I feel it’s pushed to the side often.

The script wasn’t that great which left the actors working with some cheesy and choppy dialogue. I liked the vibe of the movie. I liked it being set in 1960s Louisiana and the costume design was great. I just wasn’t a fan of the writing and story telling.

One of the best performances i've seen from Samuel L Jackson. Some solid child performances from Meagan Good and Jurnee Smollett. Very dark themes done in a respectful way.
