This was an ok film that fell short of being great. It got too bogged down in the minutiae of what an escape attempt entails at the expense of character development. It’s an incredible true story though, so worth watching for that alone.

Decent prison break drama based on a actual interesting true story.

Hey not bad. Shines a lot when it comes to performances and tension. Any scene where those two things were used simultaneously was a masterclass of cinema.

the astonishing way that it had to keep me on edge all the time was so worth it, I actually got scared for them beyond imagination.

the acting, and the story blending with conformity and racism were perfect.

This story is basically what I was trying to do for 14 years… Not escape from a prison… But Pretoria. Then again, is there much of a difference?

this was a solid movie and a good watch there was always some type of action or drama going on which made the movie more entertaining as you watched it at times it was a little fast paced but still overall a great movie also crazy it was based on a true story

it was so good. probably the most intense film i’ve watched in a while
