i think everyone should watch this movie once in their lifetime. sri devi's acting skills are so underrated (rip btw) that she amplified the message behind the film. slice of life movie with a lot of fun bits, emotional moments and parts where you'll feel proud too

I hope a lot of Americans watch this so they know what kind of assholes they are. I love how she does her best in English but her family and her husband exclude or laugh or remind her that she doesn’t know English. Literally her husband said she was born ONLY to cook.

This flim is truly extraordinary. This movie made me and brother stop fighting for the remote because we would put this movie on the tv FOR MONTHS to eat our lunch,dinner,etc. this movie is a heck of a ride and truly makes you feel what the characters are feeling
