Definitely could’ve been executed better. Was very excited for the concept(huge dystopian fan) but was extremely let down with the choppy cinematography and mediocre story telling.

Why does everyone hate this??

great memories from what I recall, matt damon is such a great actor. The plot is cool, not much more things to tell. Solid 6/10

My personal favourite sci-fi movie. Matt Damon is the last person who I would think would be in a dark sci-fi movie but he does an amazing job. If you’re a fan of this movie I recommend you watch upgrade next. 9/10

Really good premise, rarely say this but could’ve been longer!

Rewatched this to show my wife and I can confirm it is a firm “Meh”. Cool world building and surprisingly relevant to today’s political climate but there are so many odd plot/tech holes. Ex. Why did they bolt the exoskeleton on Matt Damon’s character through his shirt?!

It was alright. Story started off strong but felt very rushed in the second half. Movie looked great visually and the action was solid... just wish the story got fleshed out a bit more. Villains were pretty terrible - they had no real motivation to behave the way they did.

cool concept! it felt very much like divergent with the world building, and i think because the plot felt so overdone, it kind of affected the overall impact of the movie. i loved the tech and everything, but the rest was mid.
