Jack Nicholson was the best part of this movie

Was obsessed with this as a teen, watched it a couple of times as (born to be wild) conquered my headphones.

10/10

This approaches documentary levels. Such a pictorial of transgressive youth and the culture that will continuously betray them based on facetious hyper-conservative/heteronormative mob ideals. Everyone must watch this!!!

I am sure this movie was groundbreaking when it was released, but my wife and I watched it over the weekend and did not like it. You can definitely tell. The actors were stoned most of the time, and the script was not complete. View at your own risk.

The movie is kinda weird especially towards the end. I love the country vibe on the road. Nicholson makes the movie much better with his goofy character. The fact that this was made in 1969 is cool and it’s a good movie still today imo

peter fonda and dennis hopper are just turnt. probably go to stoner movie. this movie is just a vibe i can’t explain it. sound track is nice, characters are so likeable and chill. and jack nicholson is funny af

Great film and it holds up for being kind of old.
The soundtrack was superb and a really road trip vibe of it.
The editing was kind of unique because I haven’t seen those transitions on screen.
Also all the actors did a good performance especially Jack Nicholson.

Fine movie, the story was a little weird but it was alright. Jack Nicholson is a incredible actor so that makes the movie better. The ending could have been better because that was also pretty weird.
The movie had some nice moments and some really cool shots.
