E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

I am only disliking this movie because E.T gave me nightmares as a kid and I am still not over it. Also please don’t try to gaslight me into thinking E.T is cute like my family has, he is terrifying and I will die on my grave bed saying that 🫡

Overrated and overly sentimental. The story drags, and the alien feels more creepy than endearing. Predictable plot with cheesy moments. Doesn’t live up to the hype—just a boring kids’ movie.
