Great theater movie. Not sure if it was a *good* movie but definitely fun to watch ​​​​​​​​​

This was long and boring and didn’t explain anything?

Thankfully, Paul’s beauty was blinding, blocking the fact of a nonexistent plot & Zendaya perfume ads (?). I’d rather not be burdened with the political struggles over a planet that is inhabited by nothing except dust and dull worms (though I’m sure they have great personality).

Good movie, but I was confused 90% of the time 🙈 ​​​​​​​​​

Idk why it took me so long to finally watch this it’s definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time 🪱

The pictures were stunning, i must admit. Have seen it in 4DX which was well executed. However, the plot seemed slow-paced and hard to understand.

Rewatch for Dune 2 and wow I’m glad I did. I picked up on so much more this time around. Chalamet delivers one of the better performances I’ve seen, captures you from the start. The cinematography in this film is incredible. Extremely excited for Dune 2

A lot of people, and I mean A LOT OF PEOPLE, absolutely love this movie, however, personally, “meh” is the perfect rating for me. Technically, this is part 1 of 2, but the pacing is off; the movie goes from action and engagement, to basically nothingness, every 20 minutes or so.

i wasted $18 dollars on this movie just to come out ready to take a nap

Wow. I didn’t expect to like this. The atmosphere, camera work, soundtrack, everything was amazing in this movie. It really brings you in the world and keeps your attention even if there was no action for a while. Only dislike I have is Zendaya and it’s confusing. Amazing movie.

The book sells the story, not the marketing team teasing Zendaya for her to be in it for 5 min. Didn’t really get the hype, stunning visuals though.

One of the greatest movies of all time. Everything about this movie is just perfect, and it's only a setup, which makes it even better. The acting, directing, dialogue, plot, pacing, vfx, sfx, score, set and costume design, character and world building, everything just feel superior. I've watched this countless times, and every single time, the anticipation for part 2 just grows and grows. The atmosphere Villeneuve creates time and time again shows his masterclass in directing. I want to say so much more but the Queue won't let me.

Sorry but super overrated

did i originally only watch this for the cast? yes. did i end up liking it? UM YES. IT WAS AMAZING.
i need the sequel rn 🧍🏾

Wow what a movie if you like sci-fi. I am glued to my seat watching it and making sure I write about it now ​​​​​​​​​

story is captivating, emerges you in it.
This is peak
two hours that felt like minutes.

Lot of questions to be answered… I’m hooked for part 2 though
