If Matt Dillion is in it I love it

Never ever putting a hat on a bed again

Dill pickle at the peak of his powers. I wish they had made a sitcom from this. I would watch it weekly. 10/10

Absolutely loved this film. Didn’t glamorize drug use and showed the reasons why people use. Matt Dillon is incredible in the lead role. A new favorite of mine.

Got bored and didn’t finish

its about addiction so its going to be depressing. very slow paced. some interesting visuals for the time.

i’ve become a fan of gus van sant’s work, and drugstore cowboy is an excellent early film with a tight, realistic screenplay, dedicated performances, and an absurd yet captivating visual style. the narrative is simple yet effective with great character development; intoxicating
