Downton Abbey: A New Era was more enjoyable than the first movie. Faster pace, fun storyline, loved seeing the servants dress up and join in. The death scene had me in tears, handled so well.

9/10 This is better than the first movie in every way.
The plot is really enthralling with very nice payoff at the end of the movie.

granny is the funniest character and
carried the entire show. prove me wrong!

I always love watching the family but that movie wasn’t the most exciting. The french story came out of nowhere and didn’t really feel connected to the rest. And for the downton part it was « Singing in the rain » but in the UK.

this show has my heart

It feels as the series keeps going, loved this "special episode"

its downton abbey but i feel it isn't a good movie if you haven't watched the show and the first movie

Kinda cheesy.. but still nice to see a follow-up of their lives.

I lovedddd it. It has happy, funny and tearjerking moments. It’s let down by the fact we don’t get to see Henry & Mary marriage but we are given little details about what it looks like. A nice send off for the downtown abbey fans. 8/10.

As a viewer of the series, I feel that the movie was a good continuation of it, I liked it, and all the people that watched the series or that like movies based on the gilded era would like to see this one.

Again such a great movie and I love the era!
