It was an interesting premise that veered in a completely different (and unrelated) direction.

the concept was promising but the plot derailed half way 😭😭😭 it had so much potential

I liked it because it was a really cool concept but the ending really could have been better. It kinda seemed like the whole movie was going to lead up to something big but it didn’t. It was a simple ending for a cool movie. Love Mark Wahlberg though!!

Tbh you should just read this movie for one character, Ngoc. Played by Hong Chau, she was just funny and caring and very real. This movie was a really cool concept and I thought it played out really well.

Okay- I thought this movie was a fever dream. Alas, it is not. The concept is really interesting. It’s just really long for no reason. It could have been way shorter.

The beginning reeled me in, especially bc I thought the movie would propose some sci-fi approach towards being more environmentally-friendly. The plot quickly changed into more of a light-hearted drama/romcom though. I think they should’ve stuck with sci-fi…

Downsizing is a creative sci-fi comedy about people shrinking to improve their lives. It’s unique and funny at first, then becomes more serious. Interesting idea, mixed execution.

Das Konzept des Films fand ich cool. War aufjedenfall interessant & gut umgesetzt. Aber die Storyline hat mich jetzt nicht sooo gecatcht. Trotzdem guter Film

The beginning was good but then half way through the movie it was just horrible

I feel like there isn’t much of a story going on during this film. We follow a man’s life and sure there’s a bit of drama in there but I think they missed out on making something big happen.

A cool concept but could have been better I think. The story was a little blend. There were funny parts. A simple movie but not bad!

Cool concept, found it randomly on the flight entertainment system. Started really good but the end was a bit dissapointing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Downsizing has a stellar cast and has some good points to make but the movies plot gets muddled and the pacing is slow. The script is ok but overall it feels like a missed opportunity here. Should have been better
