Absolutely brutal and horrendously sad. I recommend if you want to feel horrible for the family this movie follows.

One of the most unsettling Stephen King stories, and that says a lot since there’s nothing g supernatural about it. Kathy Bates come through with a top five career best performances. Part “who dunnit,” part psychological drama, all fantastic filmmaking.

King has the capacity to write captivating female leads better than most, and this is a great example.
