this movie felt kind of predictable to me personally. it was well shot and definitely intriguing but i think lanthimos other work completely overshadows this

A great commentary on raising children in deliberate isolation. Darkly funny at times and painstakingly honest in arrogant ignorism. The kids are innocent and don’t know any better, so all repercussions fall on the parents. I feel like the ending is darker than most realize.

I watched yesterday, still make me think today and probably will make me think after. First of all, wtf. Second, make me thinking of what is living in a bubble, and how you can relate a surreal movie plot with the reality we are living today.

This movie is always been shown on Insta by creatives as “most disturbing” which I think is pathetic. This film is brilliant. The acting in this is fucking incredible. Honestly one of the best films out there.
Only a few “gory-esque” scenes

Boring but in an intentional way. Cliffhanger of ALL cliffhangers
If I was in that situation I would also definitely repeatedly hit my dogtooth with a 2 pound weight to get out…

this is so raw and interesting yet disturbing and gruesome. definitely not for people that are sensitive or don’t like analysing movies. this truly explains how you see things based on the environment you grow up in.

Several years back my introduction to Yorgos movies, this one of his craziest ones.
