umpopular opinion : i dont like it

The soundtrack was stunning!! The storyline was beautiful and the choreography was insane! My only complaint would be that they introduced the “outsider” plot line for Johnny. It would have had a bigger impact if we had known longer!! At times he would give strange signs too! ❤️

I cannot recommend this enough he’s all like im hot and hate rich people because they think they’re all that and shes like omg I want to do something my parents don’t approve of, they dance and she does him, it all works out in the end.

Watched it for Patrick…. But he peaked in Ghost

Although the plot is sometimes implausible, the movie's music, dancing and romantic spirit carry a lot of it. In addition, Dirty Dancing has the virtues of a female main character (a bit unusual in a coming-of-age movie) and an interesting setting.

Love this movie so much

The music is amazing especially the main song (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life and the actors did great

After I watched this movie I found the soundtrack at a Family Dollar store and got it the music is great

I can see why this movie was controversial for its time. I wish I could dance, that’s such a flex. I wasn’t a fan on Baby as a character for the first half of the movie but she got better over time. The romance was decent too. Overall solid.

if you haven’t seen it just watch it to say you have I’d imagine it’s much better thes first time you watch rather then when you rewatch bc you’ll start to notice too much don’t notice just watch

The first like 40 minutes were kind of boring and a little bit too focused on just dancing and stuff and we didn’t really get romantic scenes but after that it became really beautiful and interesting and romantic and ended up being a really cute movie

THE LOVERBOY SCENE WAS SO CUTE TO ME. they had each other obvi but the lowkey pining is just so cute to me omg. i wish i could dance.
i actually understood her dad cause i would be the same way. i felt soooo bad for his sister/friend or wtv. and what’s the deal with her sister she serves britney (glee) to me
