Genuinely a mean movie. I know you’re supposed to learn a lesson with the movie and “grow”but if you’re a half way decent person it’s a lesson that’s self explanatory and shouldn’t have to waste the talents of 2 fantastic actors who deserved way better than this. -3/10

I can’t believe how unfunny this movie is. It has a laundry list of problems from dry humor, dislikable characters (even the ones that were suppose to like), and a stupid story. I’m going to try and forget that Steve Carell and Paul Rudd ever did this movie.

I really like Paul Rudd and Steve Carell together. Very funny and wholesome

This was a really funny film, if you have not seen it, you have to. Its a must!

pretty funny movie with great casting. it had me laughing a few times and the characters were really entertaining.

Certainly silly on the surface but I appreciate the theme of blind optimism and antics.

Funny movie overall. Sad concept but I’m sure this happens irl which is gross. My parents and I were crying laughing. I love Barry’s mice collection it’s so cute (if they’re fake). I was so stressed before the dinner party even started.

Fun comedy that had a quite wholesome story. Honestly Steve Carrel was the funniest part of it and he had such great chemistry with Paul Rudd.

This film has such a great balance of comedy and heart. The premise is so damn silly in the best way possible. The entire cast is brilliant but Steve Carell in particular steals every scene he’s in.
