But it’s stupid, fun, and it did wonders for my Josh Hutcherson obsession when I was younger.

Kinda gave Scary Movie (2000) vibes. It is a parody. Logic being irrelevant is the point. If you treat it as pure satire, the chaos becomes its identity, making it oddly memorable and strangely fun.
