8.5/10 this movie was a great part of my childhood films, after watching pretty much all of the original Disney animated films the references were really cool to see and funny. The songs were corny but good and the cgi was BAD

Mal basically drugs Ben with a magic love cookie, and why is he totally okay with this even after the spell is off?? He doesn’t even question it and even laughs about it. It’s not like she apologized or had some sort of character development that made him forgive her.

This is such a comfort movie for me. My fav song is from Mal and Ben’s date, If Only. I wish there were some different costumes but the soundtrack is great and it’s such a cute movie. A great movie for conversations about what you would’ve wanted to do differently creatively for the costumes or character personalities.

I mean it’s a musical and it’s for kids but it was pretty good. I liked the concept. It would be fun if this was made for adults and much darker. But yeah. Singing and dancing is okay too I guess lol.
