It was good. But you could have taken all the family shit out with Gerard butlers character. It was fucking useless and exhausting and it made him overly a prick instead of just a hard ass cop. Made the movie too long.

This movie will have you on the edge of your seat. It is so good! Just wait until the end you will be like well damn!

I’m always a sucker for a heist movie. One of my favorite genres and this one was above average. Nice twists and turns along the way. Completely missed this when it first came out, and only watched it because I saw a trailer for the sequel coming out soon. Will definitely go see the sequel, which they set up at the end of the movie.

Of all movies, I really didn’t expect this to get a sequel. I remember watching it when it was relatively new, thinking it was ok, and forgetting it. Metacritic says it’s a 50, which is a bit harsh. It’s like a 60+ depending how far you want to go.

one of my fav heist films. that first opening follow shot of the armored truck is just ahhh so fucking good. butler & schreiber are the perfect match for cops vs robbers. the rivalry between them was unmatched. both performed phenomenal. lowkey reminds me of gtav robbing the casino haha. ifykyk. im a complete nerd for heist films so this one really hits a home run. great cast, great cinematography, great score, fantastic action scenes, great writing, and just a thrill of a film overall. can’t wait to watch part II. 9 / 10

It was just ok

ice cube’s kid is such a head scratching nepotism hire, untalented and out of place. all of the shootouts were tense & engaging. my favorite part was the 20 minutes federal reserve heist. pablo schreiber is underrated, surprised he’s not cast in more projects

A 7.2. It’s a great "Saturday night with the volume turned up" movie.

Have a feeling this movie is “for the guys” but I’ll rate it anyway. The first half had me all the way confused and uninterested, but once the heist started I was locked in. While the plot got exciting I still think overall the film lacked and never went deep enough.
