SO FREAKING PEAK I CANT animations are amazing so sad tho i cried so much i went with my friend and i made eye contact and we we were both bawling our eyes out AND THEY WERE FLEXING THEIR BUGDET

Finally saw it in theaters which was undoubtedly worth the wait, the animation is spectacular on the big screen, the music is fantastic when booming at you, this was a lot of fun when it actually took place inside of the castle. Everything outside of that is plagued by the same problems the anime has always had, yes it looks fantastic but ultimately it’s a decent story that could have been told better. Pacing here is mind numbing, this is dense, long, and it throws a lot at you. There are far too many flashbacks, particularly towards the end it felt out of place, there are story elements that felt entirely invented on the spot to grant stakes, so much of the backstory behind these fights should have been highlighted throughout the story instead of shoehorned into the middle of climactic moments. This all goes to say that the quality remains, Zenitsu finally getting his moment is enough to give this a high score. 4/5
