Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere
Another fantastic musical biopic with another Oscar worthy performance.
This film was one of the most enthralling watches of the year so far. I mean what a ride this film was. As someone who knew nothing about Bruce Springsteen going into this film it was a great experience.

Screw bad reviews this movie is not getting as much love as it deserves. Even with tropes, this movie sucked me in and I ended up loving it. Best movie I’ve seen in theaters this year and might go and see again

Fantastic acting by everyone!! Very heavy and emotional film but was powerful. Haven’t heard many of his songs but I admire him wanting his original sound to come through. I wish we saw more about his life after this time period as well. Overall very good biographical movie!

7.3/10 muy bien trabajada, es brutal que todos los biopics de cantantes tienen que tener problemas mentales. Los jeremys carrileando

Ok I forgot that Jeremy Allen white has the most off putting blue eyes ever because the brown contacts looked so natural. They should force him to wear them forever. With that in mind this movie was kinda boring ☹️ which sucks cus Springsteen created one of the most iconic albums of all time

Different than the usual music biopic: a meditative character study on the creative process and a spiritually haunted, tortured artist. Jeremy Allen White is perfect, delivering the intensity and vulnerability needed. The story achieves the same intimacy as the Nebraska album did

There’s certainly an overabundance of biopics in the current climate - musical biopics in particular, and I’m a sucker for them! But this one stands out among the rest, not necessarily being the “best”, but rather in its dedication to gunning for a particular element.
The trend of portraying a focused era of someone’s life opposed to their WHOLE life is a welcome one, but that’s not what I mean. Deliver Me From Nowhere doesn’t just tell the story of the making of Nebraska, but rather harnessing that as a gateway to exploring mental health - and that I think is really special, and really well crafted.
I’m not a mega fan of Bruce, I’m incredibly hit or miss with many of his songs across different eras, but I know enough to know that Jeremy Allen White gives a seriously impressive performance in this movie. Not only in the singing, but just in the mimicry of his voice - it’s often uncanny. Jeremy Strong is brilliant too, but when isn’t he? But David Krumholtz jumped out, he constantly impresses in these supporting roles, hell - even in Supergirl!
It’s not necessarily at the top of my list, but looking back at 2025, this is one of the films that stick out among the masses, one that I had a really good time with exploring.

i’m stunned at how good this was, especially coming off of the slop that was michael. i mean i just watched a musical biography where the only time he’s shown his playing a tour show is in the first three minutes. j.a. white brings a tangible emotional depth to this that made it feel like i was watching a story of deep personal struggle rather than a celebration parade of a rise to stardom. this is the definition of how to make a biography that actually deserves to exist. it’s the valuable story of human struggle that permeates regardless of fame and fortune rather than a constant artistic glaze of the topic artist that serves to do little more than turn them into a caricature

I fell in love with this movie♥️ The story of Bruce’s life and the making of the Nebraska album was truly full of deep emotions, and Jeremy Allen’s performance was absolutely incredible.

A slow-paced, humble story about a brilliant and broken songwriter. The ending 🥺

I’m so glad I watched this. I may have cried a little bit, as did my dad. They did the right thing touching on Bruce’s struggle with depression and showing people they aren’t alone.

Certainly not your standard jukebox biopic, but I enjoyed this more contemplative approach to the genre.
