the creators just wanted to capitalize on a fear of dolls without putting any real thought or care into the plot. In the films defense, I was getting my ass ate the whole time so I wasn’t exactly giving it my full attention. However, my point still stands.

I mean it was okay. Dolls don’t freak me out but if they mess with you it would probably be more enjoyable. Still an okay watch. Just kinda campy and not scary to me. Donnie’s character couldn’t have behaved less cop like lol. The ending was good though.

it was sluggish at first, but progressed after that, the tone was so dark I almost cannot see everything even in the daylight, storyline was so simple yet the twist was kinda creative !

A film that I think excelled at its creepy and intense atmosphere, effective jump scares and engaging storyline that I found thoroughly entertaining to the very end. The acting, although not spectacular proved decent. And the twist at the end, unexpectedly spectacular! 9.5/10!!!!

it was somehow a great storyline, but I wish it was made differently, it could've been greater.

Lotta nostalgia for this- my mom turned this on for me when I was 5. That said, I really liked it back then and it was scary enough but not that scary. I think it’s fine now but not scary, a little basic but good plot and acting is alright- I would rec but nothing special

Okay here's the thing, I liked the idea of the movie and there were definitely some scary parts however the husband's acting was not that great and there were a lot of plot holes that you can not ignore.

The movie felt incomplete, like I wasn't watching the final version if that makes sense

Great horror

Definitely not for anyone scared of dolls or puppets. This film will amplify those fears & haunt you long after the credits. The setting and tone are gothic and unsettling, yet the story lacks depth. Mary Shaw is haunting, though underused. The puppets steal the show.

Creepy, somewhat scary movie. There is something super creepy about dolls IMO. Love the story too.

It was so boring and not scary at all, even not that creepy. Disappointing :/
