That was such an emotional movie. The acting was amazing, and although it was a bit hard to stomach some parts of the film it really humanises every person involved in a crime, even the most horrific ones.
Definitely recommend watching it. Sean penn is an amazing actor

What an astounding and disgustingly devastating film. The absolute best aspect to this was the performances but this film really REALLY makes you think in a very psychological deep and dark way.

A magnificent well written emotional character study. This film alone proves Sean Penn is one of the most talented and greatest actors that truly performs 101% to any role.

This movie really opened my eyes to the possibility that the death penalty is not always the best solution for a criminal. Granted this was made in the 90s but much of it is still relevant today. It’s slow moving, but there’s some great performances, especially from Sean Penn.

Decent movie, think this was a time piece against the use of the death penalty, it was a nice watch but left me feeling confused as I was sad the individual died but didn’t feel sympathy for him at the same time
